I have traveled to Cuba every year since 2012 (sometimes more than once a year).  And, my last trip was in December of 2019, just before the pandemic. Little did I know (or anyone else) how that event would change everything. Five years later I made my return. As always, it was worth it. Cuba is a place that gives you everything you could want photographically. Had things changed? Definitely. In Camagüey, we experienced daily power outages from 6 AM- 11 PM daily. Choices had to be made. Would I charge my phone? My laptop? My camera batteries? A discipline was required but it was not unbearable. The group managed well with few complaints. In Havana, the infrastructure was in very poor shape. No power issues but other things very obvious. It takes a special kind of people to deal with these inconveniences, but the Cubans always show their resilience. And for our group, we were all willing to put up with some disruptions in a place we loved as long as we were able to photograph and experience it. And we did. My documentation of this country has been a continual act of joy and love. Take a look at the photos and come along for the ride.
